This guide covers permanent deletion of an Anthale API key that is no longer needed.
Deleting an API key is permanent.

Before you start

  • Confirm the key is no longer needed by any running service or environment.
  • Create and distribute a replacement key first if the service still needs Anthale access.
  • Switch to the correct Organization before you delete the key.

Delete the key

1

Find the key in the dashboard

Open the API key page for the correct Organization, then search by key name or API key prefix, or filter the list by owner, status, or date fields.
2

Open the action menu

Click the three-dot menu on that key’s row.
3

Delete the key

Choose the delete action and confirm the permanent removal in the dashboard.
4

Wait for the list to refresh

Stay on the page until the key disappears from the list or the dashboard confirms the deletion.

Verify the result

  • Confirm the deleted key no longer appears in the API keys list.
  • If you rotated to a replacement key, confirm the service now authenticates with the new key instead.
For replacement or key-state changes, see Create an API key, Enable or disable an API key, or API keys overview.
